Tuition fees and grants opportunities

Tuition fees

University tuition fees have a fixed component (comprising a regional tax and a revenue duty stamp) and a variable component (an all-inclusive fee) which varies, depending on the income and total assets of the family members (ISEE), the degree course that the student is enrolling in, and the number of years enrolled for, taking into account the normal duration of the degree course.

They range from € 160 to € 3500 per year for UE students. For non - UE students a flat rate is determined according to their country of citizenship and ranges from € 400 to € 3500.

All the information can be found on the University website.

Grants opportunities

The University of Pavia has different option to financially support the students:

  • The government agency EDiSU publishes each year announcements for scholarships and other special subsidies (for instance accommodations and access to canteens). The amount of the scholarship varies according to the economic condition of the student's family, the student's residence, and proof of having a paid accommodation near the university. The scholarship is awarded partly in services and partly in cash. The application for admission to the competition must be submitted, along with the required documentation, in accordance with the procedures specified in the annual competition announcement.
