Help
The University of Pavia is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
We firmly stand against all forms of gender-based violence, harassment, and racism,
recognizing that such behaviours undermine the dignity, well-being, and success of individuals within our academic community.
Gender-based violence and harassment —whether physical, emotional, verbal, or online—
have no place in our institution. We condemn all acts that perpetuate discrimination, intimidation, or harm based on gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.
Similarly, racism in any form is unacceptable. Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, or cultural background has long-lasting impacts on individuals and communities. As an academic institution, we have a responsibility to ensure that every individual is treated with
fairness and respect.
We encourage open dialogue, education, and proactive measures to prevent harm and address grievances.
Abusive and violent behaviour of students towards other students for reasons of gender, race, ethnicity, or cultural background will not be tolerated and will lead to university disciplinary procedure and potentially legal reporting.
