Egyptian Museum - Museo Egizio

The Museo Egizio (Turin), the oldest museums in the world dedicated entirely to ancient Egyptian civilization, offers curricular internship opportunities for UNIPV students.
Established in 1824, it houses one of the most comprehensive collections of Egyptian artifacts outside of Egypt, with over 40,000 items spanning 4,000 years of history.
Renowned for its innovative approach, the Museo Egizio intertwines historical reverence with modern accessibility. Its galleries are enhanced by multimedia displays and thematic tours, offering a deep dive into ancient Egyptian culture. The museum also prioritizes inclusivity and interdisciplinary research, connecting its vast collection to broader narratives through cutting-edge projects like the redesign of the Deir el-Medina Room, supported by European funding.
Students can explore some of the most important finds of the ancient Egyptian civilization, including a vast collection of papyri, such as the Strike Papyrus or the Turin King List and many preserved mummies. A highlight is the reconstructed Tomb of Kha and Merit, showcasing intact burial treasures.
To qualify, internships must have a minimum duration of 75 hours.
